Orange Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello
    1/2 c. sharp grated cheese
    2/3 c. pecans
    1 c. frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
Preparation
    Bring pineapple, sugar and water to boil.
    Dissolve gelatin in hot mixture.
    Cool in refrigerator until consistency of egg whites.
    Add cheese and nuts.
    Fold in dessert topping.
    Pour into individual salad molds or one large mold.
