Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. sirloin steak
    1 medium onion
    16 oz. sour cream
    1 stick butter
    1 large can chow mein noodles
    8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 small can sliced water chestnuts
    1 tsp. paprika
    3 tsp. white wine
Preparation
    Saute steak in 1/2 of the butter; set aside.
    Drain most of the liquid.
    Saute the onion and mushrooms in the rest of the butter.
    Reduce heat and add remaining ingredients, except noodles.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add steak and small amount of liquid.
    Simmer 5 more minutes.
    Serve with toasted chow mein noodles.
