Lewie King'S Famous Eggs Fondue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices bread
    3/4 lb. sausage (medium spiced), browned
    6 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 lb. medium Cheddar cheese
    1/2 stick butter, melted
    cornflakes
Preparation
    Cut crust off the bread and cube.
    Grease casserole; spread half of cubed bread on bottom of casserole.
    Put the browned sausage over bread and half of the cheese, then the rest of the bread.
    Beat eggs, milk, salt and remaining cheese.
    Pour over top and refrigerate overnight.
    Next morning, crumble cornflakes over the top.
    Drizzle butter and place casserole in a pan with water and bake for 40 minutes at 400\u00b0 (2-quart casserole).
    Do not cover.
