Scalloped Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. oleo
1 small onion, minced
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 c. buttered fresh bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
12 sliced carrots
Preparation

Cook carrots; drain.
Cook onions in butter.
Add flour, salt, mustard and milk.
Stir until thickened and smooth.
Add salt and pepper.
In a 2-quart casserole, arrange layers of carrots and cheese ending with carrots.
Pour sauce over all.
Top with crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown, 35 to 40 minutes.
