Whacky Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1-1/2 c. flour
1 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. white vinegar
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 c. water
Preparation

Sift together first 5 ingredients in an ungreased square 8 x 8 baking pan.
Make three wells in the mixture.
Pour vanilla into first well, vinegar into second well and vegetable oil into third well.
Pour water over the entire mixture.
Mix well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
It is extra special when garnished with a dollop or two of whipped chocolate frosting (recipe below).
Note: Double all amounts if using 9 x 13 baking pan.
