Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 to 3/4 c. cracker crumbs
    1 egg
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    black pepper to taste
    1/2 c. water
    1 can tomato soup
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, cracker crumbs, egg, onion, salt and pepper; form into patties and put in a skillet.
    Combine water and soup; pour over patties.
    Cover and simmer for 40 minutes. Delicious!
