Never Fail Fudge(My Grandmother'S Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    5 to 10 oz. jar marshmallow cream or 1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows or 16 cut up regular marshmallows
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (12 oz.)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Mix milk, marshmallow, sugar, salt and butter in a saucepan, stirring constantly; heat to boiling and boil 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add chocolate and stir until melted.
    Stir in vanilla and nuts, if desired.
    Spread in a buttered 8-inch square pan and cool until firm.
    Press whole nuts into top of fudge for decoration before fudge hardens.
    Makes about 2 pounds of creamy fudge.
