Sweet Dills - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 qt. white vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    4 c. water
    3/4 c. pickling salt
    cucumbers
    green dill
Preparation
    Boil vinegar, sugar, water and salt for 5 minutes.
    Pour into jars filled with small cucumbers and dill.
    Set in hot water in a kettle or canner.
    Boil for a few minutes.
    Seal.
    Let stand until cold or overnight.
    Makes 7 quarts.
    Half bushel of small cucumbers makes 22 to 23 quarts.
