Oriental Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. oil
1 lb. steak, cut in strips
1 pkg. onion instant soup mix
2 c. water
1 medium green pepper, cut in strips
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 medium clove garlic, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
cooked rice
Preparation

In skillet, heat oil and brown meat; drain. Combine 1 1/2 cups water, soup and meat; bring to a boil, then simmer, covered, 20 minutes. Stir in green peppers, soy sauce, ginger and garlic; simmer, covered, 15 minutes or until meat is tender. Add cornstarch blended with remaining water. Bring to a boil, then simmer until thick, about 5 minutes. Stir constantly. Serve over rice.
