Ingredients

1 lb. slab bacon, unsliced
3 qt. water
salt
8 lb. mustard greens
1 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
-
Rinse bacon and place in heavy pot with about 3 quarts of water.
Sprinkle with crushed red pepper and cook with lid on for 2 1/2 hours or until tender.
