Chili Sauce For Enchiladas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chili pulp (or 4 to 6 Tbsp. chili powder and 1 Tbsp. flour, mixed)
2 Tbsp. fat
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pinch oregano
1 small onion, chopped
Preparation

Fry onion and garlic in fat.
Add salt, oregano and chili pulp; add enough water to make a thin gravy.
Boil for 20 minutes. If a milder sauce is desired, add a beaten egg just before removing from heat, or use more flour and less chili powder.
