Heavenly Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, at room temperature
2 c. milk, at room temperature
1 pkg. (6 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
1 can crushed pineapple, well drained
1 carton (8 oz.) whipped topping
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using half of required ingredients.
Pour into 9 x 13 greased and floured pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
Cool.
Beat together cream cheese and milk, adding milk gradually.
When smooth, add pudding and continue beating until it begins to thicken.
Spread on top of the cooled cake.
Sprinkle pineapple over top of pudding mixture. Spread whipped topping over all.
Top with nuts.
Cover and chill 24 to 48 hours.
Serves 15; freezes beautifully.
Other half of cake mix can be used for cupcakes or to make another torte.
