Penuche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c milk, scalded
1 c white sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 t corn syrup
pinch salt
2 T butter
1 t vanilla
1 c broken nuts
Preparation
-
Cook milk, sugars, corn syrup and salt until softball stage or 236 degrees. Remove from heat and add butter.
Cool to lukewarm and add vanilla. Beat and add nuts.
