Russian Tea Cakes Or Mexican Wedding Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix butter, vanilla and sugar thoroughly.
    Sift together flour and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add nuts.
    Chill dough; roll into 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet (cookies do not spread).
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, or until set but not brown.
    While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
    Cool.
    Roll in powdered sugar again.
    Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
