Cold Green Salad Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    1/2 lb. snow peas, chopped
    3 c. chicken stock
    1/2 c. whole almonds
    1 large green tomato, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. cucumber, chopped
    1/2 c. romaine lettuce, chopped
    2 tsp. minced garlic
    1/2 c. thin-sliced scallions (white and green parts)
    salt to taste
    lime wedges
Preparation
    Place thawed peas in large heatproof bowl.
    Add snow peas and set aside.
    In saucepan, over moderate heat, bring chicken stock to a boil and pour over peas and snow peas.
