Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 tsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add 2 teaspoons water and vanilla; mix well.
    Blend in flour and nuts.
    Chill four hours.
    Shape into balls or fingers.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 about 20 minutes.
    Remove from pan.
    Cool slightly.
    Roll in confectioners sugar.
    Makes 3 dozen.
