Golden Squash Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. fresh squeezed orange juice
2 Tbsp. whipped cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. grated yellow squash
8 pitted dates, chopped
1/4 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
2 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Onto sheet of wax paper, sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
Beat eggs and sugar until combined.
Add sour cream, orange peel and vanilla. Add dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Stir in squash and dates.
Spray Bundt pan before adding batter.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
Invert cake onto wire rack.
Let cool 15 to 20 minutes.
In small mixing bowl, combine confectioners sugar and cream cheese.
Add juice. Mix well.
Pour over cooled cake.
