Dolly Parton'S Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (12 oz.) boxes vanilla wafers
    3 lb. bananas, sliced
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    6 egg yolks
    3 whole eggs
    1/2 c. butter
    dash of salt
    6 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Layer sliced bananas and vanilla wafers in large baking pan. Mix together sugar, flour, eggs, butter and salt in heavy-bottomed saucepan.
    Add the milk, a little at a time.
    Cook slowly until the mixture thickens.
    Let it cool for a few minutes, then add the vanilla.
    Pour over bananas and vanilla wafers.
