Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 c. mashed bananas
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix sugar.
Add shortening well.
Add eggs.
Stir in buttermilk and add bananas.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Stir into sugar mixture.
Blend in nuts.
Pour into well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Let stand 20 minutes before baking.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until it is done.
