2 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. fresh blueberries
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add about 1/4 cup of the sugar to keep them stiff; set aside.
