Hominy Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 c. sour cream (8 oz.)
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
    1/4 c. milk
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
    1/4 tsp. ground cumin
    3 (15 oz.) cans golden hominy, drained
Preparation
    In skillet, cook onion and garlic in oil until tender.
    Remove from heat.
    In bowl, combine onion mixture, sour cream, 1/2 of cheese, milk, chilies and cumin.
    Add drained hominy.
    Mix well. Pour into a greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle rest of cheese over top and serve.
