Cheese Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sharp cheese, grated fine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. margarine (2 sticks)
    3 c. plain flour (or enough to make stiff dough)
    dates
    pecans
Preparation
    Form dough from cheese, flour, margarine and salt.
    Form small ball of dough around 1/2 of a date and 1/2 pecan.
    Place on cookie sheet, pecan side down.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Makes 9 to 10 dozen.
