Breakfast Bars - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. All-Bran or granola cereal or rolled oats
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 c. honey (or less)
1 banana, mashed
1/2 c. melted margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation

Set

cup cereal aside.
Combine remaining ingredients. Spread
into
greased

x 7-inch baking dish.
Crush reserved cereal and sprinkle over batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Cool a few minutes and cut into squares.
