Chile Verde - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean pork, cut into 1-inch cubes
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    2 (7 oz.) cans diced green chilies
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Dredge meat in flour.
    Heat oil in deep skillet and brown meat.
    Add onion and garlic.
    Cook until onion is soft.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer covered 1 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.
    Stir occasionally.
    Remove lid.
    Simmer uncovered 5 to 10 minutes or to desired consistency.
