Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup butter or margarine
    1 2/3 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 cups self rising flour
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 cup black walnuts
    1 teaspoon allspice
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 cup raisins
    2 cups jam
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar and add eggs, flour, milk, spices, jam, nuts and raisins. Bake at 350 degrees. Frost with caramel icing.
