Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 7 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 c. water
3 egg yolks
1 Tbsp. oleo
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon rind
1/4 to 1/3 c. lemon juice
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
Blend boiling water into it gradually; then return to heat and cool slowly, stirring constantly until mixture begins to boil and thicken.
Cook a few minutes, stirring constantly.
(Can be cooked in the microwave.) Set aside to cool.
