Uncle Jimmy'S "Better Than Fruitcake" - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. diced apples (Stayman or any cooking apple)
2 c. sugar
1 c. crisco oil
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 box white or golden raisins

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Hand mix (dough is very stiff, even up in pan).
Mix sugar, oil and beaten eggs.
Add soda, salt, vanilla and cinnamon.
Alternate parts of flour, apples, raisins and nuts. Grease and flour pan (13 x 9-inch tube or Bundt) and bake until done.
Top with confectioners sugar, butter frosting, Cool Whip or any topping you like.
