Mixed Fruit Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cranberry juice
1 c. apple juice
2 1/2 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
1/2 c. sugar
1 orange, sliced and seeded
1 lemon, sliced and seeded
2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
4 whole cloves
4 fresh apricots, pitted and sliced
4 fresh nectarines, pitted and sliced
4 fresh plums, pitted and sliced
sour cream (optional)
ground cinnamon (optional)
Preparation

Combine juice, pudding and sugar in a large saucepan.
Bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes or until slightly thick.
Add orange slices, lemon slices and spices.
Simmer 10 minutes more, stirring occasionally. Discard citrus slices, cinnamon sticks and whole cloves.
Add fresh fruit and simmer 10 minutes longer. Serve hot or cold. Garnish with sour cream and/or ground cinnamon.
