Caraway Seed Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. warm water for yeast
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 lb. margarine
4 c. flour
1/4 c. Crisco
1/4 c. caraway seed
1/2 c. warm milk
Preparation

Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
Add caraway seed (or one cup currants).
Mix well.
Make well in center.
Pour sponge into well and mix lightly as for bread.
Use more warm milk if necessary.
Let rise again until doubled in bulk and form into buns.
Let buns double in bulk.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
