Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. water
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, chopped
1 medium carrot, grated
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 c. milk
8 oz. Velveeta, cubed
1 Tbsp. minced onion flake
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 can cream of chicken soup
salt and pepper
2 c. cooked chicken, chopped
Preparation

Heat water and bouillon cube to a boil.
Add the broccoli and carrot.
Cook according to the broccoli package directions; then remove from heat. Do not drain. In a separate pan, melt the butter and slowly stir in the flour.
Continue stirring while gradually adding the milk.
Stir in the cheese, onion flakes, Worcestershire sauce, and soup.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add the broccoli and carrot mixture (the chicken if desired) and cook over low heat until reaching the desired degree of thickness.
