Vidalia Onion Casserole #2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    4 medium onions, sliced
    15 saltine crackers, crushed
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
    1 c. sharp cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook
    onions
    in
    margarine
    until
    clear.
    Reserve
    3 tablespoons
    of
    cracker crumbs for top.
    Put remaining crumbs in bottom
    of a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
    Add soup and onions alternately.
    Combine eggs and milk;
    pour over onions. Top
    with cheese
    and remaining cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
