Better 'N Sex Pineapple Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18.25 oz. box yellow cake mix
    1 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 (3 oz.) vanilla pudding mix
    3 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
    1/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. flaked coconut, toasted
Preparation
    Bake cake in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cook pineapple and sugar in saucepan until syrupy (20 minutes).
    Pierce cake at 1-inch intervals.
    Spread mixture over cake.
    Cool.
    Blend pudding mix with milk until thick.
    Spread over cake.
    Beat cream and confectioners sugar until stiff.
    Cover cake.
    Sprinkle with toasted coconut.
    Refrigerate 24 hours.
    Serves 16.
