Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. squash
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 medium size onion
    1 stick butter (8 Tbsp.)
    1 c. bread crumbs (Pepperidge Farm stuffing)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion until tender.
    Drain.
    Mash squash and add 1/2 cup bread crumbs, sugar, salt, pepper, eggs and butter. Pour 1/2 into casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs and Cheddar cheese.
    Repeat.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
