Spanish Barley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. pearl barley
    5 c. water
    3 slices bacon, cut in pieces
    2 small onions, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    2 c. tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    Wash barley.
    Add water and boil about 45 minutes or until done; drain.
    Brown bacon.
    Add onions, green pepper and seasonings.
    When onions are tender, add tomatoes and cook 10 minutes.
    Add to drained barley and simmer 5 minutes.
