Easy Pineapple Upside Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. reduced fat melted butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    20 oz. can undrained pineapple rings
    5 cherries, drained and halved
    1 box yellow cake mix
    3 beaten eggs
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Mix butter with brown sugar and spread over the bottom of a well greased springform pan.
    Arrange pineapple slices over brown sugar mixture; reserve pineapple juice.
    Place a cherry half in the center of each pineapple slice.
    Add enough water to the pineapple juice to make 1 1/3 c. liquid.
    Mix this with the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil.
    Pour this over pineapples and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
    Let cake cool completely, then remove springform pan and serve cake slices with cool whip.
