Gulliver'S Corn (Restaurant In L.A.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 ears corn
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. flour
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cut corn from cob and place in saucepan with cream.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Stir in salt and sugar. Melt butter in another pan and stir in flour (do not burn).
    Stir butter and flour; pour into corn until slightly thickened.
    Place into oven-proof dish.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese and dot with butter.
    Melt under broiler.
    Makes 4 servings.
