Green Beans Sorrento(Makes 6 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 strip bacon
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 medium tomato, coarsely chopped
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen, French-style green beans, partially thawed
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Cut bacon into small pieces.
    In medium skillet with tightly fitting cover, saute bacon until lightly browned.
    Add onion, garlic and green pepper.
    Saute until golden.
    Stir in tomatoes, green beans, oregano, salt, pepper and water; cover and simmer 13 minutes or until beans are tender-crisp.
