Eid Milk Drink - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 liter milk
    Sugar to taste
    4 dried dates
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vermicelli (extra fine)
    2 tsp. coconut
    2 Tbsp. nuts (slivered almonds, pistachios)
    Pinch cardamom powder for flavoring
Preparation
    Finely sliver the dried dates.
    Break vermicelli in small pieces.
    Put milk to boil with vermicelli and slivered dried dates and simmer over low heat until vermicelli is cooked.
    Add coconut, nuts, sugar and cardamom powder and serve in porridge bowls.
