Icebox Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. cucumbers, sliced
1 c. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. celery seed
1 c. cider vinegar
2 c. sugar
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients.
Combine rest of ingredients and pour over cucumber mixture.
Do not heat.
Put all ingredients in glass jars or containers.
Cover and store in refrigerator.
Best when cucumbers are in season and good for weeks.
Makes 18 (1/2 cup) servings.
