Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 large can evaporated milk
    1 small can green chilies, chopped
    1 small can taco sauce
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese
    1 pkg. frozen tortillas (1 doz.)
Preparation
    Season beef and brown with onion.
    Mix soups and milk with chili peppers and taco sauce.
    Heat in saucepan.
    Mix with meat. Quarter tortillas.
    Dip in hot bacon fat, barely long enough to soften.
    Layer tortillas, meat sauce and cheese alternately, ending with cheese.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for one hour, in a 4-quart dish.
