Toasted Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. pecan halves
    1/4 c. salt
Preparation
    Place pecans in a bowl.
    Sprinkle with salt and add water to cover pecans.
    Soak for 30 minutes, stirring twice.
    Drain on paper towels for 2 hours.
    Place on large cookie sheet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes and watching carefully to keep from burning.
