Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 c. whipping cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 to 6 oz. Swiss cheese, sliced
    1 (9-inch) deep dish unbaked pie shell (frozen)
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    dash of pepper
    8 oz. bacon, lightly browned and crumbled
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, beat eggs, cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg with eggbeater or whisk.
    With a fork, prick sides and bottom of shell every 1/2-inch to avoid shrinking or bubbling.
    Make 2 to 3 layers of cheese and bacon in bottom of pie shell.
    Pour egg and cream mix over this.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
    Let cool and slice.
