Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 oz. deboned, skinned chicken breast
3 onions, finely chopped
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
3 Tbsp. flour
8 c. water
salt and pepper to taste
cooked rice
gumbo file
Preparation
-
Brown flour (without fat, plain).
Add onion and celery and cook until lightly brown.
Add chicken and water.
Cook until chicken is done.
Serve with rice and sprinkle gumbo file in bowl.
