Thumbprint Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 c. cake meal
1 tsp. orange juice

Preparation

Cream butter with sugar.
Add egg and then cake meal and orange juice.
Drop on greased cookie sheet. Make thumbprint in center and fill with nuts or jelly or both.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
