Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. onion, chopped

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients together.
Mix egg and butter and add to dry ingredients.
Drop by teaspoons into hot oil and cook until golden brown.
