Cheese Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. cooked potatoes, sliced
    garlic salt to taste (optional) or regular salt
    pepper (optional)
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 c. mild Cheddar cheese, grated or 2 c. Velveeta
    2 c. homogenized milk
    1/2 stick butter
    4 Tbsp. self-rising flour
Preparation
    In pot, melt butter.
    Add flour, salt and pepper over medium heat.
    Add milk gradually until thickened.
    When mixture is thickened, add cheese.
    When cheese has melted, pour cooked potatoes in large baking dish, sprayed with Pam, and cover with cheese mixture.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until bubbly and top has browned a little.
