5 Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can red kidney beans
    1 can cut green beans
    1 can wax beans
    1 can lima beans
    1 can chickpeas
    1 large onion, cut in rings
    1 red pepper, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. each: salt and pepper
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix beans and vegetables in colander; drain.
    Heat remaining ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour mixture over vegetables and mix well in large bowl.
    Refrigerate for 24 hours. Serve cold.
    Keeps well in refrigerator.
