Red Beet Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. cooking oil
1 1/2 c. pureed cooked beets
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift flour, soda and salt; set aside.
Combine sugar, eggs and oil in mixing bowl.
Beat at medium speed, about 2 minutes.
Add beets, chocolate and vanilla.
Gradually add dry ingredients, beating well.
Pour in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Let cool.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
