Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. kraut
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1/8 tsp. celery seed
    3 tsp. diced pimento or shredded carrot
Preparation
    Drain kraut; place in bowl.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Stir well.
    Store, covered, in refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving.
