Round Or Chuck Steak Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into 1/4-inch thick
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 medium onion, sliced
    4 small potatoes, sliced
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Cut steak into 4 pieces.
    Season with 1 teaspoon salt and paprika.
    Coat with flour.
    Brown in hot fat in heavy skillet. Transfer to casserole.
    Place onion and potatoes over top.
    Mix tomatoes, ketchup and remaining teaspoon salt; pour over potatoes. Cover and bake in 350\u00b0
    oven for 1 1/4 hours.
    If necessary add a little water.
